Martha Stewart Member Rating: 5 stars 09/04/2018 A catering service served these at a diplomatic cocktail party in Nairobi, Kenya in 1975 and was the biggest hit back then. No one guessed they were prunes. I've also had them wrapped around pickled watermelon rhines found in the pickle section of some grocery stores and even get higher reviews.

Try them for that sweet/salt combination that goes so well with turkey. They used to be served as a savoury, the little nibble at the end of a formal meal. 'Angels on Horseback' have oysters, instead of prunes.
