Martha Stewart Member Rating: 4 stars 07/31/2019 It was good but did not cook thoroughly in the time indicated. I had to cook it longer. Other recipes call for more eggs and less milk. I tried one of them and they didn't taste as good but they cooked in the right amount of time. My husband who had tasted Buttermilk pie before said that it wasn't quite like the ones he had previously had, but he said it was good and the whole thing disappeared :) Martha Stewart Member Rating: 5 stars 07/07/2018 Perfect. I didn't expect the simple ingredients to make a wonderful pie that was delicious the day it was made and just as delicious two days later. Martha Stewart Member Rating: 2 stars 02/21/2016 After 15 minutes at 425, my crust was WAY too brown . I would cover the edges of the crust from the beginning. Also, I would add lemon zest and lemon juice next time. Martha Stewart Member Rating: 3 stars 01/06/2015 I've made this pie many times, but with the recipe from Martha's Pies & Tarts Recipe book. In that version she includes the zest of one lemon and 1 TBS lemon juice. I think it makes all the difference! The pie has fantastic flavor. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 04/09/2013 Could cocoa powder be added to the custard mix? Has anyone tried it? Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 04/18/2010 The crust was really good! The buttermilk filling was ok. Nothing spectacular but fine! Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 02/09/2010 Delicious...including the pie crust! We're a family of pie lovers, and we all enjoyed this recipe. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 07/09/2009 This was easy to make, and delicious!Martha Stewart Member
