Smoothies are the one off the most important part of healthy diet. Instead of sipping up the unnatural drinks smoothies and juices can be the better replacement. Now as the issue of extra fat hitting the every third person it's demand of the time that shift on the healthy food as compare to spicy one. If you have Nutribullet machine in your kitchen then their will be a great chance to make the smoothie.

Loved this smoothie! Added a bit more sweetener to taste. Also required a bit more water.

This is nasty! I will try just about anything healthy but this smoothie had to be washed down the drain.

Tasty and healthy. Nice to use water instead of juice or dairy. And while "handfuls" has become conventional, I was taught that
                "handsful" is proper.

                A really delicious recipe!
ljwaldron: a handful is a noun referring to (1) a small, undefined number or quantity, or (2) the amount that a hand can hold, handful is one word (and has one l). Handfuls is the conventional plural, meaning that it is the one listed in dictionaries and that appears most often in edited writing. Hands full might seem logical, especially in reference to actual hands, but it tends to give way to handfuls wherever the two words function together as a noun.

First, the correct way to use multiples is hands full, not handfuls. What is plural? The amount in the hand or full? That is a huge peeve of mine. I am glad there are others that didn't use ginger; either they aren't fans either or they just felt creative. I too use cinnamon, either coconut milk or soy vanilla; depending which I have on hand. I also use a frozen sliced banana All else is great! I am becoming a big fan of smoothies that are truly meal replacements minus sugary additives. thx

I altered this recipe a little because I like it sweeter. I added a banana and 2 more teaspoons of honey. Great!

I altered this smoothie a bit- instead of water I used 8 oz of almond milk and instead of ginger I used cinnamon and it was DELICIOUS! It was so good I forgot I was eating spinach. Thanks for the idea. Looking forward to drinking another one!
