My grandmother lived to 95. She made sun tea religiously every summer day until she died. All of her children made it and all of her grandchildren make it and so on and so forth. No one ever got sick from it, myself included. Tomorrow there will be a jar of this very recipe steeping in my backyard, the ice cubes will be ready as will our frosted glasses to fill with and enjoy, what is sure to be an awesome glass of tea.

I'm disappointed to find a recipe for sun tea on Martha Stewart's site! Sun tea has LONG been deemed unsafe because the sun's rays don't heat the water enough to kill bacteria, just enough to foster it. Sun tea can get you pretty sick if you aren't lucky!
