Martha Stewart Member     Rating: Unrated       04/11/2008   fresh fruit with chili and salt is a common snack in all of mexico. there are vendors selling this treat outside of schools and churches,walkways etc. we also put lime juice with the chili and salt. other fruits and vegetables we eat like this are jicamas,oranges, tunas (cactus fruit),carrots,cucumbers,pineapple and papaya. try this mixture over potato chipswith alot of lime.

Directions

Place fruit upright in cups. Arrange chili powder and salt in dishes. Sprinkle some over fruit, serving the rest on the side.
