Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

Directions

Combine cream of tartar and baking soda in a small bowl, and sift together 3 times through a fine sieve. Store baking powder in a clean, dry, airtight jar at room temperature, away from sunlight, up to 6 weeks.

                These were very easy to make and very good.  I will probably make them a bit smaller next time as the biscuit size was very generous; good for a ham sandwich but a lot for a side starch.  We froze the left-over biscuits and they toast nicely.

                Tried this recipe and was so pleased w/ the results that I automatically triple the ingredients for each batch.

                These were very easy to make and very good.  I will probably make them a bit smaller next time as the biscuit size was very generous; good for a ham sandwich but a lot for a side starch.  We froze the left-over biscuits and they toast nicely.
