Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 06/07/2011 these came out great...the sprinkle of lemon juice made them taste awesome, i used a silpat mat to make sure they didn't burn...we'll be making them again soon Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 01/28/2011 Excellent and simple. I sprinkled chili powder on them and tossed with olive oil. Use parchment paper in your rimmed baking sheet to avoid burning. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 01/13/2010 on the lowest rack my sweet potatoes became charcoal... I'll try again, though... Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 12/30/2009 I always leave out the lemon juice and bake them on the lowest rack on a single baking sheet. They do come out crispy enough for me! Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 09/19/2009 These are sooo tasty. We tried them and loved them so much we made them 3 more times within the next 2 weeks. Mmmmm. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 03/10/2008 THANKS MARJOSTEVENS FOR YOUR TIP, WILL BE TRYING IT TONIGHT. EXCEPT THINK I WILL LEAVE OFF THE LEMON JUICE. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 03/05/2008 About those sweet potato fries that didn't crisp up... Try cutting the recipe in 1/2 and spread the sweet potatoes on one baking sheet (instead of two). Then place that sheet on the lowest rack in the oven. I have found that oven "frying" potatoes on the lowest rack gets the outsides of the potatoes nice and crisp. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 01/13/2008 I love sweet potato fries. I just don't like the oil used in a fried recipe. I followed this recipe exactly and the fries never became crisp. After cooking for at least 1/2 hour longer, they were still mushy. I guess I'll have to go back to my fried receipe.Martha Stewart Member
